My Approach
I provide individual therapy to adults navigating a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. My style is warm, curious, and collaborative. Engaging in therapy can feel both brave and vulnerable, and I work to create a confidential, supportive space where you feel safe to explore your experiences. I tailor my approach to each individual, with the goal of supporting the growth and change you are seeking.
My work is integrative, drawing from relational, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and psychodynamic perspectives. Even with 20 years of clinical experience, my appreciation for the complexity of this work continues to deepen, and I remain committed to ongoing learning and professional development. I have advanced training in both psychodynamic therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Choosing the right therapist is an important and personal decision. I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to learn more about your needs and explore whether I may be a good fit. From there, we may meet for a few initial sessions to further assess fit and determine how best to move forward. If we decide to continue, sessions are typically held weekly, last 50 minutes, and are conducted via telehealth.
